I have a friend coming to Ireland soon from the Czech Republic, she is coming to Limerick and looking for work. She has been manager of a Retail Store in the centre of Prague for the last 2 years.

BTW If anyone knows of anything let me know.

When she comes she is going to do some job hunting, and will probably be travelling store to store handing in her CV.

Question on CV format- Is the Europass CV format recognized in Ireland, or what is the best CV format to use for applying ?

Being honest I don't like the Europe's format at all I used to get them daily into my old job and none of them would stand out from each other as they all look the same and more or less have the same stuff on them.

I would have a Google and look at loads of other cv designs and pick something that looks good and stands out from the crowd. Design a logo for it or something.

Also I don't like the persons photo on a CV I think it looks cheap looking.

But these are my views and others might think the same.
