Eating late at night, sleep quality

Is eating late at night a bad idea? I train from 8:00-9:30pm two nights a week and from 7:00-9:00pm two nights a week. I usually get home from work around 6 and if I eat before training my stomach feels terrible!

My dinner would usually just be meat (chicken or beef), dark green veg and some starchy carb (potato, pasta or rice). I stay away from spicy meals or very carb heavy meals. Would eating a meal like this be detrimental to my sleep? I get between 7 and 8 hours sleep every night of the week.

I regularly don't get in from training until late. Often after 9 by the time I've showered. I'd haven't dinner then with any issues. I sleep well, 7-8 hours a night. And usually fall asleep easily.

It shouldn't affect the quality of your sleep but its not supposed to be good to have your digestive stem working overnight. It needs a rest too!
