Eir Sport app on Android?

    Hi.

    I have a Sony TV that runs version 5.1.1 of android. However, Google Play tells me the Eir Sport app isn't compatible with this device.

    I also have an android phone, version 6.0.1 of android. I can install the Eir Sport app, and register the phone with the app. However, when I select a channel I get a message "Device is not Registered". But the phone does show up under the app's "Device List".

    Can you please tell me how to get the Eir Sport app to work?

    I also have a problem with the app.

    It works on my andoid phone.

    However after I login to the app on my M8S android box and click on one of the 6 channel i get the message

    "device is not registered"

    "failed to initalise DRM Client".

    It runs Android 4.4

    Hi, I cannot log into the eir sport app, it tells me my username or password is wrong, but the details are right, I can login the My Eir app perfectly with the same details.

    Hi Pamela,

    Every time I launch the app, I am asked to accept the T&Cs.
    After accepting, I see the list of channels.
    I select one. The screen goes black, with the swirly "Busy" icon; a few seconds later I see a message saying "Device is not registered". I tried unregistering the phone and re-registering it again just in case, but it made no difference.

    Anyone successfully running this?

    I've got the app sideloaded on Amazon Fire TV, it loads, I can login, device registers, I get 2secs of video and then it says "something went wrong, please try again".
    Any ideas?

    1. Initially told yes it would be soon available 'still have some issues with app'

    2. I was then told 2-3 months, transcript 12th August.

    3. Then I was told 'we are currently trying our best to get license agreement from Android TV', 'EIR has proposed an agreement to Android TV'.

    But again than you for your response.

    The advice I got was to reset my password.Of course, I'd already done this maybe 6 times,and it hasn't worked.
    I can login to myEir,no problem.
    I have pm'ed the rep and await further developments.

    I am having a similar issue. Every time I try to log on via iOS, I get "Login Error".

    I have reset my password 3times but still have no access. I can login via the eir website no problem.
