    Hi,

I am interested if there is baked beans in a can product on the market with no sugar or sweetener added.

Are you just looking for haricot or cannellini beans?

I cook quite a few cassoulets, which have haricot as main ingredient. You can buy in some health food types shops or supermarkets will have them in cans.

I sometimes just buy baked beans if in hurry and wash of all the "tomato" sauce. Works fine

    Hello :).

Well, occasionally I may like a break from my normal breakfast, and the usual canned beans in a sauce are nice, but I can't understand all the sweetness in them. Never found a can with no sweetener, so decided to ask the question.
Removing the sauce may be an option...

Sorry, no. You're right. They have saccharine.

Yeah, I think I saw this product in the stores. Looks like all commercial products are sweetened.

I watched Gordon's Home Cooked Meals (or whatever it was called!) and cooked these right after. They were f&£$king delish :D

He does add brown sugar but it's not much and you could try it without!

I've seen Cool Beans in Super-Valu and they don't have added sugar or sweeteners.
