Best way to give up smoking

Hi, I'm thinking of giving up smoking well I am giving up smoking in the coming days, and am wondering what is the best way to give up, also the easiest! I can't take Champix I've already asked the doctor. Any ideas greatly appreciated!!! I can do this!!!!

Cold turkey, vaping 0% nicotine e-liquid and drinking lots of different kids of herbal teas.

NRT is delaying the inevitable and at one stage last year I was smoking and addicted to the gum at the same time.

Cold Turkey will feel absolutely awful for a few days, like you've just had your heart broken or lost your best friend but it passes and you will begin to feel so much better. I used to adore smoking but how could I justify something that was trying to smother me and limit my ability to live life.
