Why would you fixate on dress size? Just eat to be a healthy weight and you'll be whatever dress size you are. Dress sizes are arbitrary and inconsistent anyway.

I don't know but I imagine it would depend on your height as well
If it's a 10 you want to be specifically, try setting 10 lbs as your goal and reevaluate at the end of that

Depends on your height. If you are 5'3" and a size 12 then you are overweight.

    Thanks for the replies..

I have researched and the majority says 10 pounds or so depending on size etc

I'm 5' 5' and size 12 - look and feel better as a size 10 suits my shape better.

Once I loose the 10 pounds or so .. I'll be about 9.5 st - will feel and look much better IMO

If you are overweight you aren't a healthy weight, so it's not really relevant to what he said.

I am 5 ft 6 , 10 stone 3 lb and a size 12. I have been 10 lb lighter before but still was a size 12, so I think for me I would need to loose a stone to be a 10.

I think it's all relative to how much weight you need to lose. If you're a stone or two overweight, 10lb is probably about right. If you have more to lose then it'll be longer before you drop a dress size.

    It depends on your build as well. I'm 5ft 6.5, 10 stone 10, & a size 8. If I lost 10 lbs I'd probably look emaciated.
