Just FYI, for anyone buying, you'll need a UK delivery address.

    https://addresspal.anpost.ie/

    http://www.parcelmotel.com/

    https://www.dpdparcelwizard.ie/

Personally, I'd use DPD Parcel Wizard, as it sends it directly to an address of your choice (like at Work), but the choice is yours.

gives me an error when I put in DPD postcode.

I use dpd now for everything from outside of Ireland
It's cheaper 9/10 and sometimes it's the only way to get items from companies like this

Dpd parcel wizard is great for rescheduling deliveries too from the app

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,705 ✭✭✭✭TheDriver

you must put in DPD phone number to get the address to work. Thanks OP, some new work shoes for myself.

Payment declined using Revolut. Presumably because the shipping address (parcelmotel) and the billing address don't match?

I put in my Irish address but went through the verified by visa. no issues so far. What is annoying however is that VISA seems to only do a daily exchange rate and if i waited until today, it would have been €2 cheaper. Ah well..........

Got that arseways. I used the parcelmotel address as my billing address thinking that it needed to match my shipping address.

Guess I should have used my actual Irish billing address. Now I have a pending payment on my Revolut card that I need to follow up on.

Great stuff, thanks. My order went through.

Had to use Parcel Motel as the billing address on the first page and then in the payment page under "change billing address" change it to my actual address.

    Thanks OP.

Got a pair of shoes for myself.

If anyone needs a Parcel Wizard phone:

This dedicated number can be used by Parcel Wizard members if requested by UK e-tailers :

    02891 240365

The number is for this purpose only and is not a customer service number.

Just skip past that to where you actually put your credit card details in, and you can put in Ireland.

    Yes to expand on this:

On the page where you enter your cc details, you should see an option to change your billing address which you can use to change it to the one matching your cc billing address.

    3. My order just arrived to the Parcel Motel depot in Dublin. :)

The SALE16 code was what appeared to have expired (I think, I couldn't get it to work anyway).

Got an email today from them having registered, saying free delivery till Monday - and I paid £3.95 delivery on my order. Feckers!

Just checked. Looks like the code is gone.

    60% sale still there though

Maybe the mods should change the title and take the expired off this
60% isn't to be sniffed at

Sorry for 'bumping' a slightly old thread but (per HUKD) Clarks outlet have up to 50% off some nice shoes and another 20% with the code NEW.
    www.hotukdeals.com/deals/upto-70-off-sale-inc-boots-plus-extra-20-off-with-code-free-returns-clarks-outlet-2511315

I bought two pairs (50% + 20%) and had to use the instructions in this thread to get the purchase through using an Irish VISA card and Parcel Motel (as Clarks make it difficult to order with a non-UK credit card). Used the info in posts 21,28 & 29 to get it to accept me. Thanks to the posters who figured it out!

Forgot to mention, Clarks also have a UK delivery charge of £3.95. Couldn't find a code to avoid it.

How good are Clarks shoes these days?

The last pair I bought the heel fell off after 3 days (I did get a full refund)

The pair before lasted 6 weeks before the looked / felt worn out.

Last pair I bought for the kids were Clarks version of converse for 33e. They tongue kept slipping down and I had to sew it back in place. I was not impressed.

I've had the same pair of Clarks work shoes for over two years! I've had a good few pairs of boots and found them great.

I managed to place an order, used my Address Pal address as delivery address and then ticked the box for same delivery address. However I was able to manually change that to my actual billing address on the payment page. Order went through with no issue. Got a pair of work shoes (think it's time I finally retired my current pair!) for about €40 including the Address Pal charge. Used the promo code NEW for 20% off.

That's interesting. Was going to order a pair until I saw your post. I have a pair here I paid €70 for in a B&M shop here. After some light wear, they started to leak, and I noticed the heel on one was collapsing. Not impressed.
