Best way to screw mount onto fibreglass

Fibreglass doesn't hold screws well so your best bet is to drill the holes and place a block of wood on the underside and screw into that using sealant to waterproof the holes, another option is to use nuts bolts and washers again using sealant.

What type of sealant do you recommend for screwing into fibreglass?

I'd use stainless screws with washers and nuts on the underside if you have access.

Regular silicone sealer will do to waterproof it.
