    The plan is to head down that direction for a few days, would anyone have any recommendations for an improving beginner?

    Inchydoney is probably your most consistent bet, Castlefreak picks up more swell, but Inchyd generally has a bank....

    Clon is a nice spot to base yourself, if you head further west, Barleycove is lovely, but utter ****e on a dropping tide (as is inchydoney)
