Hi , so last week I went for this cardio test where they test your heart using your pulse. Twas advertised in the localaper and cost 50euro, they said it's new technology and its 99% as good as an angiogram.
I'm in good health but the test showed up there was a buildup of plague on my arteries and the one in the heart was considered to be aged at 60-70 (I'm 39). It also showed up a palpitation.
There's a history in the family with heart issues so I do watch what I eat and I've 2 young kids so I get my exercise with them. They crowd who performed the test offered me the supplement Proagri 9 as she said it would provide the nitric oxide to help clear out the arteries. It's 65 euros for the 3 months and money back of it didn't work. It felt like a sales pitch at the end of the test as there was boxes of the stuff all over the table so it has me questioning the test.
I didn't buy the stuff yet but I called into my health shop and had a chat, they sell Larginine on its own which would work out cheaper.

Can anyone share any thoughts on this please? I'm going to get my doctors advice next week.

Stop talking to peddlers and high street shops about your heart health. Good job not buying anything like a sucker but I'm flabbergasted you even gave them as much time as you did. Go to a real doctor about your heart. If you have a family history of heart disease you should definitely be talking to a doctor about your long term plan at 39.

EDIT: Skipped the last line there, I see you're going to talk to your doctor. That really is the only person worth getting advice from. Some young wan in a shop won't know a thing and will probably recommend some toxin cleansing system that they just happen to be selling right now.

The problem I've found with my doctor which I'm now going to rectify thanks to the results of this tests is going about getting a full and proper heart check up. I've been getting 6 monthly cholesterol and blood pressure check ups and while the cholesterol is always a little high the doctors have left it at that. My plan is now getting them to refer me for a proper test.
The test that was performed seems to have some validity to it, there's a report on BBC news about it but I definitely want the proper check up done.

Oh and in fairness to my local she pretty good, she laughed when I showed her the proargi ingredients showed them to me herself at half the price.
