There's a bit of Big Momma's House that's really embarrassing.

Do you know the bit I mean?

It lasts about an hour and forty minutes.

Then the credits roll, they're not too bad at all.

The incredibly long hallelujah sex scene in watchmen. Just why? Those who have seen will know.

That scene isn't cringe. It's hilarious.

I think it's Spider-Man 3? Peter Parker dancing and supposedly being all cool and seductive. Most cringeworthy thing I've ever seen in a movie

Aw man, see when the music stopped and he's still dancing in complete silence. Then he stops and gawks out at the audience with his gob open, before running offstage, all hunched over.

    Funny but cringey as hell.

I watched the two series of Dare Devil and ****ing loved them.

I spotted the old film was on with Affleck and so recorded it. I watched it for about 30 mins and then there was a scene where DD and Elektra have this fight off in a playground. I turned the film off after that - It was that cringy

Any scene where Melissa McCarthy or Rebel Wilson play the whole "look at me, I'm a big girl doing something hilarious" card in order to garner laughs.

See also Kevin Hart, when he uses the pint-sized, wise-cracking black man shtick as his only comedic avenue.

    Hilarious really.

Was the thread on that deleted or still exist somewhere?

Most embarassing movie scene is whatever sex scene happens to come on while you're watching tv with your mum and dad.

Orders of enormity worse when you're sat with your Granny on a Sunday night and she asks

"Why that girl is kneeling down in front of the fella? Sure I thought they were going to have a rattle!"

"Eh...she lost her contact lens, Granny"

That reminds me of a time when I was watching tv with my mum (I was in my mid-20s at the time), and there was a fairly tame (but prolonged) sex scene in whatever crap film we were watching. To break the awkwardness, I jokingly said "mum, what are they doing?"

She responded: "Raymond, they are having sex... did I never give you 'the talk' when you were younger? Right, when a man and a woman love each other..."

At this point, I left the room with my hands over my ears.

Jaysus for a second there I thought you were going to say your ma gave you the ride.

In Dirty Dancing when she says "I carried a water melon". When Johnny signals Baby to come and dance with him and they dance but when the song ends, he walks off and she's still dancing with no music. Ugh And the worst "nobody puts Baby in the corner"!

Also not a movie but my brother used to point at me and do the Eastenders theme tune. I didn't even mind the tune but with the additional pointing, it made me cringe for some reason.

No the worst worst worst line in that whole movie is

    "you're wild"

Oh stop, or when he's walking away at some stage and she just says in a very high pitched broken voice "johnny" and then he turns around and she says nothing. I'm embarrassed even writing it.

The whole movie is embarrassing. Still liked it though :)

"I'm not afraid to die. I've been dying a little every day since you came back into my life."

Literally the worst dialogue ever written, courtesy of 2002's (what the F*CK?) Attack Of The Clones.

Oh jesus, how could I forget that!

There was me thinking the scene where they can hear the phone ringing from inside the Spinosaurus, but fail to hear the actual Spinosaurus itself creeping up on them was about as bad as it could get.

Especially in a franchise in which the most famous scene involves the actual earth shaking with every T Rex step.

The big speech by Morpheus in Matrix Reloaded. It's pure cringe, I blushed with embarrassment when I saw it first.

Tried watching that new Star Wars thing for the second time at home. Got to this line of dialogue 10 minutes in
    "Whats your name?"-
    "FN87655432781"
    "What?"-
    "FN87655432781"
"I'm going to call you Finn, that ok with you Finn?"-
"hey... 'Finn' ...yeah!... yeah I like that"

and thats when I switched it off

Make America Get Out of Here

I tried to watch that newest Star Wars movie - also lasted 10 mins. I cannot understand how any adult could sit through that tripe.

Pretty much any scene with the young John Connor in Terminator 2 and the end scene where Arnie gives a fucking thumbs up from the tank of molten steel.

Harrison Ford "Get off my plane"

    Fucking cringe cheddar

There was a scene in Spiderman 3, where Parker puts a coin into a payphone, you clearly hear it rattling in the coin return slot, yet he still manages to make a call.

Hope someone's head rolled for that mistake.

    Hnarf Hnarf.

In fairness, he was miles better than Russel Crowe in Les Miserable -- and Crowe claims to be an actual singer and is the headliner of his own band.

This is cringeworthy because it is so perfectly scripted. I never felt so sorry for someone being so pathetic.

That "younglings" line from Obi-Wan in the Star Wars prequels, awful drama TV-quality stuff that poor McGregor had to suffer delivering woeful dialogue.

Speaking of which, those prequels have aged horribly. They look terrible and they're not even 20 years old.

Yeah, I think Liam Neeson is great, but the idea of him being the baddest of bad asses is something I just can't take seriously.

Even the famous "I will find you and I will kill you" bit...when i hear it I just think, ah, come on now Liam. Will ye stop.

You really DO say it best, when you say nothing at all.

The one where his ex-wife is taken. Would he not be saying to the kidnappers 'Lads, there's a reason why she's my ex-wife. You can keep her…'

I'm not even sure what film it is (Notting Hill?), but even reading it makes me cringe my ass off.

Ha. Either it's because the whole thing sucked or that I've got sex on the brain.

But I'm just going to leave it like that and not edit it at all.
