This may be a bit random/pointless..Had my first pen & paper RPG experience last weekend. It was my friend's birthday so I set about learning GURPS lite and put together an adventure in the Star Trek universe. My own spin on both rules and setting. It was my first go at an rpg and also as GM and I had a blast.

One thing I learned is that players will always go in a complete opposite direction to what you expect, from crashing while stealing a ferrengi's throne (complete with gagged and bound ferrengi) to failing a rage test and knocking out a middle aged hospital receptionist that was responding quite well to another player's advances. That one led to having to stun, tie up and lock away the security guards. Like I say...loads of fun all round.
