The one in St Anne's park used to be pretty good, haven't been in years though

Malahide Castle's one looks pretty sizeable.

Ierne in Phibsboro is a nice course but, and I'm not sure about this, you might have to play with a member. Worth giving them a ring.

If you wanted to go a bit further afield there's Glenville in Tallaght and Good Counsel in Rathfarnham.

I think St Anne's is closer to a par-3 golf course

Almost certain Ierne is members only.

...and that it's in Drumcondra ;)

Doh. I'm not sure how I confused them two!

Thought it might be cos it's a sports and social. In hindsight I only played there before comps so they must have allowed us in for that

Is the Spawell still open? I played there a lot 10 or so years ago and it was always great.

I went here a year or so ago and found it terrible.
Much better to head southside at hit many of the great courses around Leopardstown / Stepaside if possible.

If it's anything like Deer Park up in Howth, it's terrible.

Longing to dust off the clubs now.

The Burrows in Step aside is a cracking Par 3 pay as you play course. Some holes are 220 yards. They supply clubs, scorecards etc too. Think it's still only about a tenner too.

It is indeed, played it earlier in the year when it was wet, wasn't in good condition, not exactly at pitch n putt course either as it's quite long.

I'd imagine that at this time of the year it's in decent nick.

OP....out of interest, are you looking for PnP or par-3 golf?

Just wondered about the reference to on fairways and considering PnP holes are capped at 70m...

Im looking for course that's maybe short enough on the first nine and long on the second. I played in sixmilebridge outside limerick city a few times and the first 9 is about 45-50 metres and the back 9 is about 65-85metres so it caters for all people

You might be thinking of Shandon Pitch & Putt Club?

OP, There's also the CYMC in Fairview.

    I forgot about Shandon actually.

But I just had a brain fart about Phibsboro/Drumcondra :)
