    Preview's up:

Kings Landing - I choose violence
    Brienne acting as go between
    Blackfish sneking out with Brienne
    Sandor hewing necks
    Gregr crushing the faithful
    Arya parkouring from the waif.

    Looks good!

    As a book reader
can anyone figure out how the heck she's suppose to survive that gut wound by becoming no one? The only thing coming to mind would be similar to the poison in earlier episodes which did not kill him yet killed someone and that the would is somehow moved over to her antagonist somehow *wave of hands for deux ex solution*

Jaime's line about loving Cersei and doing anything to get back to her, taken at face value, is very disappointing. In books he's an incredibly complex character and I hoped that being sent to Riverrun would finally be the beginning of his turn away from her in the show. Maybe it still will be, but it's not looking good.

Could be a deliberate misdirect. They did it for the episode 6 preview by putting lines in a different order.

Possibly (hopefully!), and that's why I made sure to caveat my previous post with "at face value" but I've been bored of Jaime and Cersei for a while.

i think that brienne will convince the tullys to surrender and they will go and join in the battle for winterfell. i also think that at the end of episode 7 sansa was writing a letter to little finger and he was also join the battle for winterfell (just when it looks like john snow will be beaten)

That was an odd lapse of concentration from Arya, it goes against all she's learned so far. Her behaviour before that, when talking to that ship's captain, was also too brazen and public for someone who know's she's being hunted by an expert face-changing assassin. So I have a lot of questions about just what happened there.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Yeah leaning over a bridge wall and staring out to sea seems a bad way to hide and where is needle ? Is it bad writing or part of a ruse ?

Maybe it isn't Arya but Jaqen instead. He told the Waif not to let Arya suffer but she gutted and slashed Arya when she could've slit her throat and finish her.

Another one of Jaqen's peculiar tests.

I don't think it was Arya

Then why the panic stumbling through the streets after getting out of the water? Edit, also when did they wear the face of someone living?

In S06E06, When The Waif rats on Ayra to Jaqen, She referred to herself as "I" and "Me", when in fact she is No One. When she makes this mistake Jaqen takes note, she no more No One then Ayra is. I think Jaqen is gonna save Ayra.

I can see Arya stumbling back into the House of Black and White and drinking some of the water from the pool only for instead of killing her she is cured.

I like the idea of that theory so if it is true I really hope they explain it some how and not just throw out a quick line from someone saying "you have been one and the same person this whole time" and leave it at that. Kind of like the Coldhands one line explanation to how he is the way he is.

Nope. Few others still are though. The comments in the link could have anything

Around 10 secs into the promo the Blackfish is handed a letter.Could it be Sansa's letter asking for his help to retake winterfell?

As noted here - at the start of the trailer, Ser Robert Strong's armour is clean and shiny, then later in the trailer it's severely banged-up. The pattern of dents looks exactly like those that would be produced by
    Lancel Lannister's
weapon. I think it's reasonable to expect that this is his last episode.

Here's some pictures from next week's episode http://watchersonthewall.com/new-photos-game-thrones-season-6-episode-8-no-one/#more-67851there's definitely enough there to whet the appetite without giving too much away. Of course there's fairly speculative pictures so if you avoid the 'next week of GoT' videos then stay avoiding..
Jaime getting his Tywin on, hopefully he mentally gets his shít together and finally let's Cersei sort her own life out

Shouldn't the Lannisters be on the side of the Boltons? Wasn't it Joffrey who made Ramsay and official Bolton. They should be listed in the picture under the Bolton side no?

The Boltons pretty much bowed out of the alliance with the Lannisters when Ramsey married Sansa but, yeah, I can't see them being on the Stark side. Unless Brienne convinces Jaime it's the honourable thing to do (given his vow to Catelyn Stark).

I thought Roose did it? It was Tywin that made them Warden's of the North.

I thought Roose did it? It was Tywin that made them Warden's of the North.

Only a King can legitimise a bastard. It was Joffrey who did it.

But the Boltons then betrayed the Lannisters by marrying Tyrions missus to Ramsay.

Basically you cant trust a Bolton. Even if you are a Bolton.

It was Tommen who legitimised Ramsay. Joffrey was kill at that stage.

    Apologies, you are correct.

Couldn't Brienne tell Jaime the truth about what Littlefinger did - marry Sansa to Ramsey- it would undermine Petyrs plan and make him have to back Sansa completely as it would close off the Lanisters and Tyrells to him. (Olenna can't publicly support the women who supposedly killed the king and her new grandson in law

It could be someone more mysterious, more at home in Braavos. Speculative spoilers ahead https://winteriscoming.net/2016/06/10/is-yet-another-presumed-dead-character-returning-to-game-of-thrones-this-week/

Yes, but the trailer specifically shows that one. :P

    Unless he grew a
    big mop of hair

    Anyway,
if it is actually Sirio that actually save s the day, it would be ironic because he's why Ser Merynn was on Aryas list , maybe that's why See Merynn life wasn't hers to take and there's some connect between Sirio and the faceless men

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,734 ✭✭✭Duckworth_Luas

Bizarre that people can't move on and accept that
    Syrio is dead
Once that image is zoomed in, brightened and touched up just a smidge, its obvious that its the one true king, who is not dead at all.

Just something that one of those pictures has put in my head, especially now that Cersei has "chosen violence". Book spoilers follow...
That picture of Kevan Lannister and Grand Maester Pycelle in the throne room, they look rather glum. In the books we know that Varys kills them both but as that currently seems unlikely, could we see Cersei set The Mountain on both of them? She hates them both , seeing them aa obstacles standing between her and Tommen and having now chosen violence, she may lose the plot completely? As all signs upto this stage point to her going off the rails eventually.
