Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

We are not lucky at all.

Once-off thing that weather is - usually we have crappy weather here all year long. :(

2010 was a year though that weather like this (of course, it wasn't as warm, except in June) wasn't a once-off thing. I will never forget how often I recorded dry spells during that year.

Yeah try and live in Eskdalemuir in the UK. In December 2015, it recorded only 12 hours of sunshine.

I'd like to live in a part of the world with extreme weather - that's way better than dull and wet and continuously depressing like here in the west - 307 wet days in 2015, 319 in 2014. deszcz.gif

I lived in Romania for 2 years. 35 at least in summer and could be -20 in winter. Much better than constant gray and damp. Extremes are gooood

    Here in Kilkenny,:
    2015:
    135 days of 0.2 to <2.0mm
111 days of 2.0mm or more.
2 days of 20.0mm or more
    246 days with recorded precipitation.

    2014
    144 days of 0.2 to <2.0mm
122 days of 2.0mm or more.
6 days of 20.0mm or more
    266 days with recorded precipitation.

    2013
    128 days of 0.2 to <2.0mm
105 days of 2.0mm or more.
7 days of 20.0mm or more
    233 days with recorded precipitation.

Seems we get months more drier weather here than you do.
