HL maths probability

    I don't understand probability at all and I don't plan on studying or revising the chapters that relate to probability such as permutations and combinations and the Bernoulli trials etc. Would I be at risk if I go into the exam without having revised them? I'm confident in all other sections but I really despise probability. Advice would be appreciated

    Given that there is no options on the Maths paper you would be at risk. In 2012 not knowing Bernoulli would have lost you ALL of Q4 (25 marks).

    I wouldn't be surprised to see a 25 mark question this year on permutations and combinations given that we are a number of years into the new syllabus and they are yet to be asked in any meaningful way. The law of averages says they are due up!!

    If you want I can PM you the solutions to old course Permutations and Combinations type questions (2000 - 2011). An hour or two looking over them would tell you most of what you need to know.
