Broadcaster Louise McSharry will chat about her life and career to date on tonight's season finale of The Ray D'Arcy Show on RT One. The 2fm DJ will also talk about her joy at finding out she is expecting her first child following her recent cancer battle.

Fresh from winning a silver medal at the World Boxing Championships in Kazakhstan, Kellie Harrington will share her excitement following a truly momentous week for her. The 26-year-old was edged out in Friday's light-weltwerweight final by China s Wenlu Yang but enjoyed the experience of mixing it with the elite in Kazakhstan and is determined to go one better next time. Harrington insists she'll be back for the gold after a highly impressive debut at the Women's World Boxing Championships.

Comedian Al Porter will also be in studio and he has a very special musical performance in store for viewers. Porter, who recently revealed he has been tipped to play Conor McGregor in a new movie, will also talk about his upcoming gigs in Vicar Street and his summer plans.

Soccer legend Niall Quinn will give his perspective on Ireland's hopes for this summer's European Championships and his unique insight into the many challenges faced by professional sports people on and off the pitch.

UK beatbox stars Bloxed Beats will also perform a medley of well-known songs. And for the first time live in studio, Seo Linn will perform the official FAI anthem for this summer's European Championships, 'The Irish Roar'.

    Here's the video...

Whoops, wrong one. Ah well, you'll hear it tonight anyway! :D

The last ever season finale of The Ray D'Arcy Show, RT One, Saturday 22.10pm! :)

Good to see you enjoyed The Boss last night, amigo! :)

Whereabouts in Croke Park were you? A lotta complaints about the sound quality in places...

I was going to put the correct video up but I thought I'd listen to it first. I'm not a fan. And lads, would ye try and forget about the Henry handball?!? Talk about bitter!

(I usually direct my bitterness at the likes of the supremely unfunny Al Porter.) :pac:

    Manics song is alright,

surprised Wales didn't just reuse this (might have needed to change the verses to a more footbally vibe, but the chorus is valid!)

Couldn't find the original BBC Wales cartoon version, that was good.

    Haven't heard our one yet.

    Thanks, dude.

About 5 people back, behind the pit, fairly close to centre. Didn't know bout the sound issues at all till afterwards. Bloody nature of sound waves in a massive arena. Pfft. Typical.

Had a headache for most of the day, mind. :D

Or if you prefer, the 'unofficial' Welsh Euro 2016 song, courtesy of the Super Furries - sorry, Manics!

    Basketball styyyyyle...

    Never forget lads.

Although, it probably is okay to get over it. It'll take a while to get over the massive pile of euros Sepp gave our hero John The Baptist for it, though.

Ray probably knows as much about boxing as he does about pressing buttons.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 74,322 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

It would be rude of Kellie not to demonstrate one of her moves on Ray :)

    Looks like penalties.

Had to laugh when Bale was panned out on the ground, and not one of the Real players went over to help him, not even to check for a pulse.

I don't listen to her show, let alone 2fm, but give her a break, as she went through a bout of cancer there recently, as i wouldn't wish that on anyone :(

Jesus give them a break. I'd say they topped up before heading in tonight. D'Arcy probably doesnt allow gambling, sweets or alcohol in the studio.

Makes a Christy Moore gig seem like Woodstock ffs.

Just tuned in for a sec from the match and my first thought was "Is that an audience of drunks?"

We were on the pitch at 6.15.

Great post on the other points . :)

I hope for Torres (as a Liverpool fan I still root for the guy), Simeone, JuanFran, and the spirit of the Athletic team that they win... edit: and for that hot Atleti chick I just saw in the crowd.

Great penalties so far. Some brave soldiers out there tonight.. uh oh.. Bale, who can hardly walk. :(

    Juanfran you plug.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,930 ✭✭✭PeterTheEighth

Oh no not JuanFran, he was one of the only players who played really well tonight. I love penatlies for the drama, but I hate them for the fact that it makes one (usually really decent) player the victim.

Can anybody tell me ronaldo deserved that???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,653 ✭✭✭✭Strazdas

    Juanfran you plug.

Ouch....missing the target is a bummer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,739 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

Jesus. Roll it in to the keepers left seems to have been the plan there. Ah crap.

The top scorer in the competition? Probably.

Shame his team is full of w*nkers.

He definitely mis-hit that penalty.....came off his heel, not the instep

I think Ireland could actually do quite well in Euro 2016.

There's a good life lesson in this match though isnt there. You work hard, fight through adversity, give you best on every occassion even when you are up against it...

And some good looking pr1ck who doesnt try a leg gets the f**king prize.:mad:

    Woeful muck song.

Heartbroken for Torres. Nearly in tears here myself... Ah not to worry, I'll switch over to D'Arcy and he'll cheer me up...

    Oh wait. :(

Look, we had enough Football songs in 1990 to last us several lifetimes.

Some of them were even a bit good.
