I wouldn't blame a lad not going over ala Canelo-Khan when he's in his home turf, after losing a few world title fights already, to coming back in realistically his last shot at the big time and KO a guy who was expected to ice him to win a world title. Must have been a truly incredible feeling that few can compare with.

He did seem attentive once he realised that Makabu was hurt. But then he seemed to be pumped up shortly after, and shortly before he went to console Makabu. It was pure adrenalin. Nothing nasty or malicious I felt, not that you're implying otherwise. Seems like a decent skin.

Fair enough, just thought that it looked like Makabu could have been badly hurt and it seemed to take an age before he went to check on him, going by his post fight interview he was pumped alright!
