Moving to the area soon and looking for a gym to join, any recommendations? I would generally be there at peak hours so ideally one where I wouldn't have a long queue for equipment etc.

Inspire at the deaf centre navan Rd are good. Currently doing a year for 395 includes pool, gym and classes. Never seen a que. Also has a womens only section.

Where are you working / commuting to?

May be a better option going to / from work.

There's a lack of commercial style gyms around glasnevin. The only one really close is Inspire in cabra.

My girlfriend is a recent graduate from DCU and she got an excellent deal on membership. She used to go there and said it was grand. I think they've done it up since then as well. Definitely worth checking out.

DCU is good but can get quite busy with students. Its not cheap either if you aren't alumni. That said their eqipment is brilliant and as good as any other gym

Well yeah, thats the one bonus. And, i suppose, any commercial gym is gonna be packed around peak times. THey re done the whole place and opened up what once was the "elite gym" so plenty of heavy duty racks, bumber plates, heavy dumbells among others. Nice gym with the bonus of the pool
