I've been hearing different opinions on what is the best butter or spread to use? I'm looking for a healthy option to use myself as well as for my kids. Does anyone have any suggestions of what the best option to go with is?

    Real, unadulterated butter.

Spreads are the work of the devil (and usually full of hydrogenated fats).

Saw an interview where Irish Olympic runner David Gillick said always go for the normal full fat foods but just don't take too much of them. The stuff that us added to the other foods isn't good.

Always full fat butter, ideally unsalted. Healthier than spreadables, but should be eaten in moderation obviously.

Real Irish butter is one of the most nutrituous foods you can eat.
