Irish naval Recruitment 2016

So the final dates for application are around now so I'm expecting to be contacted by the Navy soon regarding the interview, psychometric and fitness tests. I thought I'd start a thread for people in the same situation as me so that we could talk about it as I didn't see any other threads so far. I guess my biggest concern…

Got offer there told to report to the naval base the 19th Dec for an attestation meeting with an officer whatever that is , anyone else ?
