Bra creaking - any advice on how to make it stop?

If I move my arms, the underwire in my bra creaks like it's auditioning for a horror movie. It's disconcerting enough for me, I have no idea what anyone I give a hug to thinks :)

The bra is well fitted (band doing 90% of the work, gore is flat against my chest, no bulging/wrinkling etc.) and it is a relatively new. It's Bravissimo own brand, my first one of theirs, and everything else about the bra is great - it's just the creak of the wire that's bugging me. I know that it is the wire moving inside the material that is making the noise, I simply don't know how to make it stop. (I am sorely tempted to soak it in some WD40 ;) )

    Any ideas?

You've been on boards long enough to know where charters live.

The gist of it is that you either read it and behave accordingly, or we can review your access to tLL.

I've a few bras that do that and I think it's the metal and the polyester/other material in the bra rubbing together. Don't think there's a lot that can be done about it tbh!

It was driving me mad, so in a last ditch attempt, I did oil it :D I didn't want WD40 near my skin, I rubbed coconut oil into the seam. The sound isn't 100% gone, but it's no longer loud enough for someone else to hear - hurray!
