A lot of buzz on the old Twitter machine with a lot of folks expecting WWE cuts similar to the Black Thursday cuts a few years back (The time when JTG, Drew Galloway and Matt Sydal to name a few got cut).

Been seeing that a lot too. i fear the social outcasts could be gone but it has been a while since wrestlers have been cut. Id say its a tough time for wrestlers now.

Ah imguessing its guys who havent been used much, like Sandow, Cameron, possible Adam Rose due to his suspension. Possibly Titus due to his heat (all just guess on from me).

possibly Wade Barrett too who was rumored to be leaving and written off recently.

Ah I don't like hearing guys are being made unemployed, Id fear for them too. Id fear to lose my job, esp if its one I loved like most guys in wrestling.

Based on how they are used I'd be looking at:

El Torito
Cameron (please)
Adam Rose
Barett (maybe an early release)

Just realized (and it's the reason she should be safe) that Rosa Mendez is off on Maternity leave.

Hope Sandow gets through this but if it's as big a list as your suggesting you would think there will be some more names, like The Ascension maybe

Perhaps I misunderstood, but Sky said he feared they'd be gone, not he feared for them. That would have made more sense. I thought he was sweating on the idea he wouldn't be able to see Bo Dallas doing laps of the ring in his singlet anymore

I think with the amount Titus is used in the quit smoking and cancer cure charities he should be ok!

Bo dallas will be fine hes got hes rap career as bo rida to fall back on.

Now that i think of it is hornswoggle still employed i havent heard of him since he got a wellness ban

From what Ive read, 5-6 at least expected. Nothing confirmed yet though.

Id be thinking more of people there awhile who havent been used in a while.

I wonder how safe is Alex Riley, He's been back in NXT the last few months but he always struck me as someone who could go.

My guesses are Adam Rose, Wade Barrett, Conor of The Ascension, Cameron and El Torito.

Also there was rumours of Jack swagger leaving after the European tour that had speculation going crazy on Twitter for a day, but it turned out to be nothing.

Americans don't get maternity leave like here, I work for an American company and a girl state side was out 3 months maternity

True although I do believe that is the reason she is not with the company atm and I also believe that despite them maybe having done similar in the past they would not get rid atm so as to avoid the PR, something I think they are much more conscious of these days

Think Foxy might be okay thanks to Total Divas though especially with The Bellas leaving that show which will mean they won't want to change up the entire cast at once.

One would assume El Torito will go as well since his bull fighting tag team have been repackaged without him.

My cousin works for the US government and got 6 weeks off when she had TWINS :eek:

I have sympathy for Riley in the sense he gave up a cushy announcing gig because he was passionate about wrestling. I admire that in a person. It certainly looks naive now, mind you.

Why did they give up on Riley so quickly? This time 5 years ago he was having a feud with Miz which I think he went over in. Miz had just lost the WWE title at the time.

Then he gets injured and never appears on the main roster again?

cant remember the year and exact details but it was the year cena vs miz at wrestlemania.

Riley somehow eliminated himself by accident when he was supposed to be involved in miz eliminating cena so they had to think of a new finish in the ring .

absolutely nothing affected by those loses anyway (even though I like Zeb), in general their time was up.

Once the Colons were given a new gimmick, Torito was pretty much just waiting for his p45.

Cameron to get a career in WWE and last as long as she did was a miracle, once the dance act broke up she was a goner. If she was smart she saved her money well, once you aren't even used on NXT you know you are pretty much a goner.

Hornswoggle should have gone a good two or three years ago. I think this was the guy Feinstein was talking about, heard he's a big collector of RF shoot interviews and i'm sure we be getting one with him soon enough, should be a interesting one.

Poor Riley had potential but once he pissed off Cena he was a goner. Seems a bit eccentric on Twitter, could have been a solid mid carder if he didn't open his mouth and upset the wrong people. His shoot interview could be a bitter one.

Santino I thought was gone years ago and Zeb only had a short run with his act.

I'm surprised Wade Barrett and Ryback haven't been mentioned yet.

Except Barett it's not like these names were even doing anything anyway, I think they are just doing some much needed trimming of the fat especially as NXT is always recruiting. I mean just look at the list of guys who appear on NXT house shows and not the actual NXT network show. (according to wiki, thats 30 different people inc the likes of Tino Sabbatelli, Shane Haste, Rich Swann & Hugo Knox)

Ryder is a good jobber to have around and can be elevated easier than a lot others to be a decent hand in the midcard.


Orton I genuinely forgot all about until your post, I'd assume he is on huge money and when you consider he never really moved the needle when the machine behind him, he is someone that I am sure their are conversations about.

I'd still be stunned if let go though, the likes of Vince, Cena and Trips probably all think he has something to offer the company.

Considering Orton's lack of options outside of wrestling and complete lack of experience outside of the WWE, I could only see him being gone for a brief patch while he swallows his pride and takes a pay cut.
Orton can have value for sure, at the very least I'm sure they'd want him to put over Reigns. Was mostly just wondering whether any further news has came out about his injury, I know he's a guy who has a rep for not rushing back from injuries (fair play to him on that), but he originally was supposed to be back /around/ wrestlemania time?

Maybe they're holding him off for a big return Orton vs Reigns summerslam match?
I mean, even with Reigns as **** as he is, Reigns vs Cena, in their minds at least, should be a potential WM main event so the idea of going to that for Summerslam seems nuts to me.

Sad to see Sandow go. I'd have a lot of guys on the chopping block long before him.

Not really bothered about the others. There's a few more I wouldn't miss either.

Rose will be lucky to survive the night and Ryder's minor resurgence may save him for now.
