    Munster:
    Simon Zebo; Andrew Conway, Francis Saili, Rory Scannell, Keith Earls; Johnny Holland, Conor Murray;
Dave Kilcoyne, Niall Scannell, Stephen Archer; Dave Foley, Billy Holland; Dave O'Callaghan, Tommy O'Donnell, CJ Stander - capt.

Replacements: Mike Sherry, James Cronin, John Ryan, Robin Copeland, Jack O'Donoghue, Duncan Williams, Ian Keatley, Ronan O'Mahony.

    Scarlets:

15 Liam Williams, 14 Gareth Owen, 13 Steff Hughes, 12 Hadeigh Parkes, 11 Steff Evans 10 Steve Shingler 9 Aled Davies, 1 Rob Evans, 2 Ken Owens ©, 3 Peter Edwards, 4 Jake Ball, 5 David Bulbring, 6 Lewis Rawlins, 7 James Davies, 8 John Barclay

Replacements: Ryan Elias, Dylan Evans, Rhodri Jones, Tom Price, Morgan Allen, Gareth Davies, Aled Thomas, Michael Tagicakibau

Unavailable through injury: Emyr Phillips (knee), Tom Williams (shoulder), Aaron Shingler (concussion), DTH van der Merwe (shoulder), Samson Lee (concussion), Mike Collins (hamstring), Scott Williams (hamstring)

Depending on the Ulster-Ospreys and Edinburgh-Cardiff result, Munster may need some kind of return from this game to remain in Europe. Scarlets will hope their fellow Welsh region will beat Ulster as this would mean a win in Thomond Park would seal a playoff place.

All the permutations are listed here: http://www.munsterrugby.ie/news/22539.php#.VyxxY4QrLs0

Lee and Scott Williams out is a boost for Munster - it will still be a tough game but in front of a packed Thomond they should have enough and if they don't, they don't deserve to qualify

Delon Williams to score a last-minute try to break Munster hearts... :p

Nah, should win this, but if it's close with 5 minutes to go and Ospreys winning in Swansea, well...

Forecast isn't great. Both teams have a lot to play for but home adv. coupled with Scarlets' injuries should see Munster win this by more than 7.
Am slightly surprised to see Archer starting after last week.

Injury to Scott Williams is a big blow to Scarlets. He was superb last weekend vs Dragons. I take Munster to win and nail down CC place.

Defence needs to go up a gear or 2 from last week, if we do, it's a win by 10+ points

BJ Botha will be interviewed before the game and is leaving in the summer. Pity how his Munster stint ended through injury, he was a very good signing to replace Hayes.

Poor day, that will suit the Scarlets, I'll still side with Munster though.

Any idea is he retiring or moving to pastures new?
If he's retiring would Rassie consider keeping him on in a coaching capacity?

I'd say retiring. At his age I doubt he can come back from ACL surgery. It's especially crap if the rumour that Exeter offered a two year deal is true.

It's not working for me in Holland. Is it geoblocked or is the page down?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,154 ✭✭✭✭Neil3030

Every now and again they don't geo block it, I remember watching a Leinster game on it before.

Here goes, CJ looks up for this, small looking crowd at it but it's probably the largest actual attendance of the campaign.

Murray needs to be finding touch with those kicks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

    What was that from earls

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Regional Midwest Moderators Posts: 24,028 Mod ✭✭✭✭Clareman

Have we left our half yet? We're looking very nervous, hopefully we'll settle down

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Regional Midwest Moderators Posts: 24,028 Mod ✭✭✭✭Clareman

And then they cut through us like we're wet paper

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Regional Midwest Moderators Posts: 24,028 Mod ✭✭✭✭Clareman

Ahh Conor we need to find touch from there.

How was it brought back for the knock on?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Our kicking is awful 5 out of 6 have been ****.

Back for the knock on because he was under pressure for the kick apparently.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Regional Midwest Moderators Posts: 24,028 Mod ✭✭✭✭Clareman

At least that kick found touch, even if it was quickly brought back into play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

We haven't shown up yet at all. Sloppy play all over from us.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Regional Midwest Moderators Posts: 24,028 Mod ✭✭✭✭Clareman

Very poor game so far but looking out at the weather it's not the best conditions for free flowing rugby.

0-3 now, at least we're in their half now

wowsers that was a good try, very against the run of play though.

twice lanelli have been pushing in the Munster's 22 and knocked on

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 967 ✭✭✭Anatidaephobia

I don't even know what that was.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

    Crazy stuff.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Regional Midwest Moderators Posts: 24,028 Mod ✭✭✭✭Clareman

    Awful soft try to concede.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Might get away with it here. Forward pass.

We really need to wake the fcuk up and get out of our half and have some possession

Got away with that, no need to throw the ball forward either

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 967 ✭✭✭Anatidaephobia

Let off. We need to stop with the poor kicking.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

So easy. But a definite forward pass.

2 clear outs by the neck as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

By the way how poor is the TJ there.

Right in feont of him and he was certain it was a try.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Any arms in that tackle that led to the penalty? Didn't look like it for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

    Clinical at least

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 967 ✭✭✭Anatidaephobia

See? When we actually keep the ball and go through a few phases we make ground. Good work from Scannell to wiggle over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Nigel seeing something in nothing there with Murray. Not a penalty, not a dive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Ah that's a balls after a very good break from the restart

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 18,266 Mod ✭✭✭✭CatFromHue

ah so that's why Lanelli have the worst tries conceded record out of the top 8 teams in the league!
