Fibreglass kayak

Looking to pick up a kayak for use on flat water, mainly canal etc.. It is about 20yrs since I kayaked but back then fibreglass kayaks were more common, something like a lawrence sprite etc.. that could be used for racing on still water but not a K1. Bantry Bay Canoes have a sale on at the minute, they are selling some cosmetic seconds of Necky, Old Town and Ocean Kayak.
Some of the Necky are Fibreglass and would be suitable for river paddling.
