A healthy cracker ?

    That I could snack with Humus ? I'm not near a lidl and even further from an aldi. Have lost a stone this year and really want to be as healthy as I can. Advice appreciated, thanks, s ☺

    Maybe oatcakes? I think they are probably your healthiest option as far as cracker type things go. Or you could bring veggies instead (carrots and cucumber cut into sticks for dipping).

    Oat cakes can be gotten in dunnes or Tesco. Would rice cakes being lower fat though?

    Personally I think oatcakes are like chewing thick cardboard. I tried to like them but I can't!!

    I really like them with hummus, I prefer them to most other crackers! :)

    What's your particular definition of healthy? Various people have different ones. Weight loss want low cal, power lifters want high protein, Others want high fibre. I go for variety myself. Different crackers, rather than eating hundreds of the same thing over a few months.

    I like the wholemeal ryvita crackerbread (mostly air at 19kcal, but quite tasty) and also the carrs waterbiscuits.
