After last nights cracking semi final this has a lot to live up to. Would like to see City go through, can see them scoring but can't see them avoiding defeat.

Ronaldo being back is obviously key.

I'd like to see City go through to the final but I'm still holding out hope that Atletico win it over either of these two teams.

City will go through, UEFA won't want an all Spanish final and a repeat of 2014...

City to go through then just before the final kicks off Vince McMahon comes out, removes Atletico from the match and has Barca take their place for a handy win.

On the match, would like City to go through but think Ronnie Madrid have the better chance of beating Atletico so will be reluctantly behind them.

It would be a big upset I think for City to get a result tonight I just think Madrid are that much better then them especially with Ronaldo back. Thought they never really got out of 3rd gear in the 1st leg so I expect them to up the performance and win 3-1

Anything to avoid another Madrid v Atletico fixture

Would like to see a City V's Athletico final .... but fear it will be an all Madrid affair.

If Casemiro isn't fully fit tonight City have a damn good chance. Definitely do not want a Madrid derby final.

Madrid will win this comfortably with Ronaldo back. City are having a very mediocre year in terms of performances and I can't see them just turning it on.

Having said that I'd love to see them do it and go all the way; another tough act to follow for Pep :)

Yaya Toure needs to step up here.

Very hard to see past a Madrid win.

    Big game for Toure tonight.
I suspect if Silva was fit, he'd have no chance of starting. Can he step up?

I'm not sure if his legs are gone , he's lost interest or all of the above but I cant see him make the difference this evening .

    Navas starts ahead of Silva?

If that remains true (and it has been true all year it must be said) they are dead.

Big style. Can see Modric playing further up while Kroos tries to negate him. On his day he'll scythe through them and bring at least a couple of yellows maybe red from the two centre backs.

    Can't see it though.

It will be fun watching Ronaldo run riot tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

    2-2.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,455 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

I think this game will be a lost closer than most people think. I like the City lineup and there is a question mark about how fit Ronaldo is. Bale has a big part to play tonight if Real are going to win this I think.

Pepe is a liability at the back for them and they don't have a defensive midfield so quick breaks will cause problems. Navas has the pace to cause them serious problems and if he gets to nice passes to Aguero on the break it could be all over.

With Ronaldo back, I think City now have a great chance as they'll be effectively playing 10 men

    2-2 draw

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,214 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

Would like to see as intense a game as last nights semi but can't see that hapening.

    3-0 Real.

    #HalaMadrid for tonight.

1-1, Yaya to score at both ends.

I expect to get a hiding but you never know with city

Good to see fans of other teams on here getting behind us

I'm not sure he will get much freedom tonight. I expect city to keep things very tight with Fernan1&2 not venturing forward much at all.

Think City have the right team out, it gives Yaya license to be lazy and burst forward every now and then

Atletico - City would be a different final so wouldn't mind seeing that.

Massive task ahead for City. Biggest game in the clubs history

Why wouldn't they in fairness? Probably be the same posters that were goading Spurs fans last Monday night if any.

    Come on City!!

    I'll say 4-1 to Madrid.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,214 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

We should expect a workman like performance from city anyway with those hi-vis jerseys.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

I'm thinking score draw. I always think the away fixture for the 2nd leg can be a good advantage in spots like this. Defend and counter attack and try take advantage of away goals.

Well there is always one slacker, breast-feeding a shovel.

That would be YaYa so :D.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,640 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Looks like Kompany's night is over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,028 ✭✭✭✭SEPT 23 1989

That's his last game for city

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,468 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Kompany should actually retire.

    I'm serious.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,500 ✭✭✭✭cson

Kompany looks to be finished at this level with all the injuries.
