I was playing soccer in PE and a lad in my class tackled me and I fell. I bruise like a peach so I had this huge bruise on my leg. The poor guy felt so guilty but it wasn't his fault.

What position would you be best suited to in soccer?

Up in the stands. The touch is still good but the body couldn't cope with the pace of a game.

I do kinda in the morning...if I boil the kettle I'll try get a few things done.
I remember a fella telling me years ago he had a bathroom door that would close slowly on it's own so when he went for a piss he would try and finish before it had closed.

When's the last time you looked under the bed for monsters?

Yep, Fruit Salads were my favourite.

Did you think the person behind the counter looked a bit annoyed when you were really specific about what you wanted, something like 3 Postman Pats, 7 Fruit Salads, 2 Chocolate Mice, 2 Blackjacks etc?

When you could bag your own did you slip a few extra in and forget to pay for them?

    I'd love some now.ðŸ˜႒

  • Registered Users Posts: 71,799 ✭✭✭✭Ted_YNWA

Yep, used to be a shop where everything was behind the counter & you had to ask for it.

Did you ever experience a shop like that?

Yea. My mam worked in a shop like that in her early 20's and she said she use to put extra sweets in the bags, especially for the kids from our road. I'm not sure it was like an old fashioned sweet shop though. Like a kiosk.
