    Hi gang,
I am looking for a laptop with large storage space. I would like a minimum of 3-4 TB of storage space.
If it isn't possible to get one with that much space could it be possible to get one with dual hard drive bay
that i could put 2 hard drives in to get maybe 4 TB of space. Also it would be nice if it was a touchscreen.

If you can find a machine that has a disc drive at all these days...

Do you really need that amount of portable storage? It seems a lot. I reckon a good quality external drive is probably the best option here.

I think you should focus on other requirements outside of your storage. I would think it wouldn't be unreasonable to have a laptop with a few 100GBs of media at any one time, and storing the rest at home on a NAS box or something similar.

Laptops do not come with 4TB of storage, and I don't see that changing any time soon, with most laptops moving towards lower capacity SSD drives over old larger HDD drives. You could buy a laptop with a disc drive, and hope you can swap it for a HDD, but this is not possible for all laptops with disc drives. It's more common with older machines.

Why the need for a touch screen, after using a few Windows based touch screen devices, I really fail to see the reason for them.

Perhaps let us know the following:

    Budget
What you use the machine for
What size you want. Laptops generally come in sizes between 13" and 15", larger 17" models are becoming harder to find lately.

i would be using the laptop or all in one pc as a jukebox for my 300gb + music so i would like it to be touch screen like in a pub. then i would also have it also hooked to tv to play my 3tb + of movie/tv files. The cost is not an issue. preferably 17" would be better.

To be honest, a NAS + chromecast + any laptop with a touch screen is the best solution here. Far neater imo. A laptop with 4TB of storage just doesn't exist.

100% buy a NAS, then any and all devices in the house can access it if you want.
