To warm the oil, some of my favourite draft moments from the past few years :D

And though mostly before my time as a draftnik, these are hilarious (especially the reaction once they hear "fullback" :D)

My all time favourite, Rick Eisen talking about punters

    It's finally here! :D

One of the best nights on the sporting calendar IMO. I actually prefer the draft to the Super Bowl I have to admit.

I have an awful feeling that Ozzie will trade back at #6 despite at least 2 of Tunsil, Bosa, Jack, Buckner and Ramsey guaranteed to be on the board.

I think it's just that it's the only night where (for the most part) everybody is involved

It's great watching ESPN knowing there's no Mayock bollocks-ology to come with the picks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

There's going to be a few of those players left in that green room tonight!

Some strange choices! I presume some players have just said no to being there?

"I'm going to say it's a receiver or an offensive lineman, they have big issues in both those areas and they have to address them as....

    .. actually I think it's a punter. Yeah, definitely a punter."

    * Pick is a punter *

    "Woah, you called it Mike!"

    ---

Looking forward to it even if I'm not exactly up on many of the draft potentials. Watched some bits and pieces but haven't watched much college ball the last year or so. Will have to be researching as I go along.

Goff will be much better than Wentz or any of the other QB's in this draft IMO. If you absolutely have to take a QB early I'd certainly go with him.

Jesus wept, you'd love to be a fly on the wall in the various war rooms right now after that Tunsil tweet. :pac:

I presume he posted it accidentally or someone else has access to his account, though that may be giving him too much credit? :pac:

    Keith Reidy ‏@KWReidy

@FeitsBarstool I was in attendance last year. They edit the boos on tv. So much louder in person.

Boston was one of the cities that lost out to Chicago to host the draft...imagine if Boston was hosting tonight?!?!?

And the contracts they gave to Bradford and Chase Daniels.

How much of their cap will be tied up on the QB position?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,333 ✭✭✭brinty

its all extremely calm in the cowboys war room
we've gotten the guy we want....
I've no idea who our pick is....

there is a lot of flexibility there after this year (and we aint winning a sb this year anyway so I'm not bothered about having it tied up this year)
