I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about KTC Coconut Oil. You can get it for about one third the price of other coconut oils in Tesco and I'm just wondering what's the catch!

It's refined coconut oil and I use it all the time for frying. Anything I should know?

Nope it's all good, cheap coconut oil is absolutely fine. It's not like olive oil, there's no advantage to the more unrefined, first pressing stuff.

I like the cheaper stuff as it has a less coconutty taste. I use spectrum refined coconut oil that has zero coconut oil taste. That one isn't the cheapest but I hate the taste of coconut oil so much!
