Yes I heard through a good source that Moon Racer is expected to do the business

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,096 ✭✭✭✭the groutch

on paper Moon Racer should win, but it's a big ask after over a year off the track.
I'd be inclined to go for Aspen Colorado, who should have further improvement in him on the better ground.

Im balls deep into The Nipper. Ill probably lay off a bit if she goes off the price I think she will but im pretty confident she will handle these, hanging accross the track last time is my only concern. The Harrington horse is probably underpriced because of the stables amazing form and Augusta Kate seems like a decent mare but I cant see why shes favourite over the Nipper.

Gone for Avenir D'un Vie and Captain Conan, I'm all in with PC having missed out today. Also gone with Sandymount Duke on my own advice. Would be nice to get something back after disastrous day today (although I did enjoy Simonsig's run, but my bookie was only paying out 2 places, grrrr)

Liking Baden in second race could be highly progressive also glens melody sister glens harmony runs in the bumper still at a nice 8-1 could look value by tomorrow evening

The J Ryan horses look interesting at Ascot as well so will have something on each of them

Montana Belle looks worth a punt at 33s today, the name rang a bell so I have a good look at her.

Her history is odd, she is with her third yard and has only ran 6 times, De Bromhead being the best trainer so far and I feel will bring improvement. She ran in the super hot 2015 bumper and was 10L behind Moonracer, in front of Bellshill and O O Seven. She was also 3L behind Bitofapuzzle before that run.

The favourite isn't genuine and after the way yesterday went for the yard I think worth taking on.

Going with Moor Racer, Supasundae, Cue Card and Pairofbrowneyes also

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59 ✭✭mackey9387

Done a 20c e/w lucky 15 on these 4 will do another one when I go collect the winnings from yesterday's bets

    Baden 11/1 (16:20)
    Gangster 14/1 (16:55)
    Djakadam 8/1 (17:30)
    Bacardys 5/1 (18:05)

Can it be after timing if the race has not run yet? I really don't get why people let this get to them we all know in the majority of cases we have more bad days then good!!!! Nobody here is making their living out of it and hopefully most break even.

If someone needs to lie to make themselves feel better on an anonymous forum let them on but in this case I'd tend to believe him.

Sure I even say losers after the event. Anyone near the track was there much rain?

Another I have had a decent cut at is Bigbadjohn 25-1 4.55 beat a well regarded fry horse hells kitch by 9 lengths on debut with the brilliant Trevor Whelan on board.

1cent super heinz bets are the plan today!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,772 ✭✭✭byronbay2

Moonracer 3/1 in PP shops until 13.45. Max bet €100.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,893 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

I like Crown of Gold 33-1 in first.

Has competed against some very good horses in most of it's races, horses that have gone on to win some nice races. I think in this group it can go very close.

    5 to place BS 33-1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59 ✭✭mackey9387

    Non-Runners: 2 / 13
Castello Sforza at 10:10 around 8/1
