    Hello,
Just looking to see if anyone has info on Gaa Transfers.
My daughter plays for a club in Meath. We need to move house and are probably going to move to WestMeath.Does she have to move club or can she remain with her current club which would be her preference. She is 15 years old.
Any accurate information on this would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    thats not a gaa transfer.
Thats a ladies football OR a camogie association transfer.

There should be no compulsion on her to move club. Assuming she is/was registered with her original club, she can continue to play with them regardless of where she is living now.

again, the situation for camogie is defined by that association, so is different and completely separate

For ladies football she is fine to stay with her home club despite the change in address. Moving out of the area doesn't mean a transfer. The issue would be if you moved house to Westmeath and then tried to transfer to her current club as it would be outside the catchment area.

    Hi
Your daughter would not have to transfer unless she wanted to for convenience
