    Pic nicked shamelessly from

    livncl.jpg

*Andrew Marriner is the referee for this.

Traditional kick off time for the first time since a 2-2 draw against Sunderland.

Liverpool host PL strugglers who need the full three points while the home side want to keep the current momentum going with what's likely to be a much changed side from Everton and next Thursdays Villarreal game.

Origi is the latest to be added to an injury list that's growing again.

The opposition manager will be given a warm welcome no doubt.

Newcastle to take at least a point. They are really fighting for Benitez and he has had a big impact tactically.

As a fan of a club in the relegation battle I really hope Liverpool will play a strong side but they registered a squad and are entitled to use it as they see fit.

I presume Firmino will start up front?

Comfortable day for Liverpool; Newcastle have been nothing but a shambles on the road this year.

Any truth in the Sakho doping rumours?

Any truth in the Sakho doping rumours?

    Haven't heard the rumours

What happened? Did he miss a drug test or something?

All over Twitter that Liverpool have suspended him for failing a dope test.

Posted it in the other trhead but I'll leave it here too:

RMC Sport- "Mamadou Sakho has been suspended by #LFC after failing some doping tests.

Sakho did not know the composition of this fat burner, which he took in a purely personal and therapeutic interest to remove fat.

Sakho, which is very affected by the news, intends to prove his good faith. The club hopes to help in these efforts."

No one else reporting it yet.

    Should be an interesting match.

    Liverpool should squeeze the win.

Watching Man City and Stoke at the Emptyhad, just goes to show how big a club Man City are if they cant fill their own stadium.

This game could be tighter than people think, we showed some guts against Man City last week but that was at home so this is a different prospect. Would be delighted with a point.

If Tiote and Colback can replicate their performances from Tuesday night, I think we'll have a chance.

Cisse needs to offer more than he has though. I just hope we're still in the game when the inevitable appearance of Mitro occurs.

I don't think Klopp will shift Sturridge, even if they don't "get on" as the commentators are making out...

We would be mental to get rid of him...

Seems like a non story tbh
Something they've come up with as there was nothing to talk about, it'll be forgotten about now that we've for the Sakho story.
