    This man is the authority on everything sheep related.
    But can we also have confirmation from Duck Lover?

    105 is right. On the third line, you're probably adding the goat as 99kg, it's 100kg.

    Goat? :confused:

    Duck = 1kg
    Cat = 4kg
    Sheep = 100kg

    4kg + 4kg + 4kg = 12kg

    1kg + 4kg = 5kg

    100kg - 1kg = 99kg

    100kg + 4kg + 1kg = 105kg

    I just asked my 9 year old son to have a look at this ......... and he also came up 105kg as the answer.

    It's actually 105.25kg

    That cat in the final line is definitely pregnant (+305 gms) but the sheep had a crap (-55 gms) but the duck is unchanged. So it makes 105.25kg

    Jaysus I thought this might be a teaser on a sat morning, left disappointed!

    I got notepad out and everything only to realise I should have just done it in my head :(

    The best way that I can explain that it's not 104kg is by showing that the Sheep and the Cat are 104kg. We all agree that the duck is 1kg so the 3 combined are 105kg.

    I think the goat weighs 87kg so you must have taken the goat's weight away from the total weight of the sheep, cat & duck to come up with 18kg?

    Sheep are hideous creatures,even on a plate.
    They survive solely on the tastiness and cuteness of their kids.

    Deduct 45.

    Surely the cat would have killed the duck?

    We have no way of knowing that. It could be an exceptionally large duck.

    Or a cat cat.

    It's rare for me to pwn a maths puzzle on the internet. Chuffed.
    Might apply to NASA now.

    Would you rather fight a sheep-sized duck or a hundred duck-sized sheep?

    (The cat would just be a spectator, silently judging you)

    Eh baby sheep = lamb. Baby goat = kid.

    Why are goats constantly sneaking their way into this thread?

    No.

    The duck gets on the sheep's back, and the sheep brings him across.

    Then the sheep goes back.

    Then the cat gets on the sheep's back and the sheep brings him across.

    THEN the duck *gets back* on the sheeps back and the sheep brings him back across.

    Then the sheep goes back and gets the cat.

    Could the duck not just fly across?
