Hi I want to try apple cider vinegar for stomach problems.. Do I need the fancy stuff from health food shops, or I see tesco sell 'don carlos cider vinegar' for only €1.50, does this do the same job?

Hey, as long as it has 'the mother' in it, im told there much of a muchness but I wold pay more than that, it will last a good while, mix with water or just throw it back.

Throwing it back first thing in the morning really wakes you up!!

The mother is this thing that's in it, looks like a big spider in the bottom of the bottle, people say that's where the goodness comes from, check it out on Google!!

Don carlos does not have the mother in it.

I have heard of people using it for stomach problems without it though.

Claire, where did you get the Braggs vinegar?

I have terrible acid reflux and I was hoping to pick some up tomorrow if it was possible to buy in Dublin.

I was in my local Tesco today but they only had don carlos cider vinegar which was no use.

Most SuperValus stock Biona or Bragg I think - Biona is actually on special offer at the moment I think €3.20ish a bottle iirc.

Hi I got it in a local health food store in co.galway but I'm sure it should be very easy to source in dublin
