    Hi,
I'm looking to buy headphones for someone who is a weightlifter.
I dunno if wired is ok or of they have to be wireless.
Any recommendations? I'm hoping not to break the bank. around 20-30?

I wouldn't buy wired. They will snag unless worn inside a shirt. I've a pair of mpow cheetahs. 15 pounds on Amazon. Sound isn't amazing but easy to use. Decent battery life and at that price if they fail after a while you won't be too upset. Mine are six months old and going strong. I wouldn't go back to wired.

Thanks a million! And you don't find the earpiece part of them annoying?

Nope. They come with several sizes of ear bud so they are adjustable in that respect. I had a wired pair of over ear ones but found them sweaty and this seemed unhygienic to be honest. The mpow ones basically wipe down and seem relatively water resistant.

After breaking about a billion pairs of earphones in the gym over the years I forked out and bought a set of Jaybirds wireless/bluetooth headphones.

    Best investment ever

I have the same earphones, and would agree with this post 100%. Grand for the price of them, I use them in the gym and out running and don't have any complaints

I picked up these creative bluetooth headphones after spotting a sale on the bargain alerts thread. They work out at €34 including delivery. They have got some mixed reviews online re comfort but I find them perfect, having used them while running and at home.

They do look a bit jammy, so might not suit if you're image conscious in the gym :)

I use a pair of these and find them great. I wear the wire under my tshirt so it doesn't snag. Went for the ones that go around the ear because the ones that are just buds going straight in to the ear always fall out for me, no matter what ear bud size I use.

One more question though, obviously with wireless you need to connect them to your phone? Problem is these need to be used with an MP4...

some will have a transmitter , others you'll need the device to have Bluetooth , or buy some kind of bluetooth transmitter for the mp4 , might be better off just getting a wired pair if thats the case.

yeah a wired pair of in ear ear buds under the shirt are the handiest way to go about it. You could probably pick up a pair of semi decent Sennheissers in that budget.
