Not sure about people but me personally think people tend to have preconceptions based on a number.. as e.g. if someone is young he must be immature etc.
Wasn't of that opinion always but have been persuaded along the line :-)
From the other point of view also society went nuts as in the ageism (look at the fashion industry just for example) so yea, I support now that the age is but a number and it is about the person/personality more regardless of the age or appearance..

    Did it answer your question?

It did and I completely see where you're coming from. We do indeed hold preconceptions. Of course age is not always a determinant of how mature or not a person is. I don't like those kind of assumptions. And for what it's worth me asking is out of curiosity. I'm forever interested in other people.

    Do you lift weights?

I do occasionally (e.g. every few days, mostly up to 6kgs though :D)

Do you think you'd be a good president of this country?

A "benevolent" President for life maybe. :D

What was the most unusual country you've visited?

I'll take unusual to mean the most different to what I'm used to, Bangladesh.

Which do you break more readily, promises or the law?

    The Law

Can you keep a secret with ease or are you dying to tell some one?

I have no problem keeping them. I'd expect mine to be kept too.

Do you think Bonnie Ryan's 'talent' is best kept a secret?

I don't know who they are so they themselves are a secret not to mind their "talent".

What time will you leave work today?

I left school a half an hour ago.

Best Christmas gift that you have given?

Anything when I was a kid when it mattered. Even a goody bag from an in-store Santa was the business.

Did you take care of business today?

    I haven't and wouldn't. Love them too much :)

If you could absolutely chose what would you be doing for life?

Self employed contractor who would engage with people for short periods such as a few days here or a week there rather than a full time job.
pro's and cons to that I'm sure.

If I could "absolutely choose". I would have a family who were as mad about me as I hope I'd be about them.

    Same question?

I would like to run a home for people something like a youth centre of some sort in a large few stories house with front and back yard and trees around, close to city centre, perhaps rent it for some lectures or projects or whatever. I'd enjoy that lots.
And yes Id also love to have a family of my own, that I would love and support, but that dream I believe will never come true in my case...

How often do you go for a walk? :)

Rarely. I really should exercise more though.

Did you ever have a medical scare?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,089 ✭✭✭Lavinia

No not that I remember. I learned that pain cannot kill ya :)

Have you ever watched a TV show called Firefly? If yes - would you recommend it?

Is there any show that you have watched that no one else really knows about... And you wonder how do people not like/know this show?

How many atheists/agnostics do you think will be on the census?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,089 ✭✭✭Lavinia

Would that be lots or little?

Probably not as.many as there actually are in the country... I would assume the real number would be 50%

Has everyone filled out their census forms...or am I on my own in not having even looked at it yet

I am not sure, I think I may have filled mine out incorrectly. :o I didn't put spaces.

Do you think some of the questions were too vague?

I only had a brief look at it.

Would it be a laugh to not fill it out, to be taken to court, and tell the judge that I don't recognise his authority?

If you had up to €40,000 euro to waste. :D

How many censuses would you say are incorrect somewhere?
