Promoting handyman website!

    A friend of mine has built a handyman website but now his next step is to promote it but doesnt know where to start. Any tips on what needs to be done. Hes excellent at what he does and now needs to get out there more for more work since starting this business up.

    That is a very general question along the lines of
    A friend of mine who is a good "any job here" bought some "another job" specific tools, any tips on becoming a "another job".

    There are lots of sites with information on promotion and SEO.
    The website should be regarded as a tool to promote the handyman business. Has he an overall business promotion strategy, the website should be only part of that. Is he using flyers, advertising, networking etc.

    Effective promotion is usually fairly specific, to location, special skills etc.
