This was by far the stupidest and most disgusting night that I've ever watched on BB. Gutless panel on BOTS, that tried to say it was entertaining.

The task was horrible. The winners won by telling lies I.E that Nicki Grahame was going to be there. "Would we lie to you?" In the end Chelsea did not get any birthday party. Shame!

Ryan and Hughie's shenegans in bed should not have been aired on TV. A bit late for Ryan to be crying over his Gran's reactions! Disgusting, from start to finish!

I know someone on last year's BB said they know someone who was going in, never found out who it was.. :(

Would you say the same if it was a man and a woman getting it on? There's nothing disgusting about it, just two people enjoying each other.

Well myself and the other half are not easily turned off by something on TV but the bed scene with Hughie and Ryan was disgusting as well as what they said afterwards about coming all over him yuk, very surprised that they showed that scene.

Disrespectful behavior in both beds considering they are sharing a room with others and they are on TV.

happens in BB every year, multiple times

Don't be stupid! What's to like like about someone saying "You got it all over me", then taking their hand out from underneath and saying "Smell that!". That's nothing to do with whether people are heterosexual or gay.

If anyone else here calls me homophobic, they will be reported straight away.

This has been one step further. I have not seen this level on BB before.

Did they have sex? Wasn't there sex already in the house this year, albeit briefly :pac: and someone does the deed most years i would have thought, i certainly remember seeing it a few times. I didnt find it as bad because i was in stitches at the girls reaction

Didn't see last night , gather I missed some antics between the sheets with Hughie and Ryan ?!!

Thought we were used to these by now , going on years , Ray Shah in the bathroom with the duvet wrapped around him doing the business ? What's her name with the bottle ? Lots of couples have done it over the years as far as I can remember anyway.

And before anyone calls me a hypocrite in regards to what I said before re MPW and Laura , I stand by what I said , erotic-asphyxiation should not have been shown.

Roll on tonight , might hopefully get to see it :)
    Another episode I mean :D

Would you not have been better to have seen the show last night, rather than basing your argument on what you have read here, Mam of 4? It's not about whether or not sex took place, but how it was portrayed for us to watch on TV.

What went on in the 2nd bed was kept under the sheets. What I'm referring to is someone (gay or heterosexual, doesn't matter) saying "You got it all over me!" then taking their hand out from down under, putting it up to the person's nose and saying: "Here, smell that!". Is that your standard, Mam of 4? Sorry, it's not mine.

Maybe I'd be better off go to another thread, or forum, where people are more willing to take on board what I have to say, without twisting it to suit what's in their own minds, such as:

Noms will be shown tonight. Andy and Jayne for sure up I'd say. After that don't know, I hope there is a good few in the mix.....

Would like to see the back of Chelsea, Charlie and Sam but don't think they'll get enough noms.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,471 ✭✭✭Esse85

Heard a snippet from yesterdays nominations on the after show last night.

I reckon, Jayne, Andy, Georgina and Charlie will all be up.

Be interesting to see if Jason puts Lateysha up after she called him a game player, he didn't take it well.

Pretty much everyone nominated Natalie last week so at least they'll have to choose at least one new HM now.

Ok , first of all , I wasn't "basing my argument" on what I had read here , I was stating MY OPINION . There's a big difference between the two.

Second , what was said says more about the housemate that said it and the BB producers who saw fit to air it than it does about how we regarded what was said or not .

Lastly , I take personal insult in your questioning my standards as you say . I always thought the rule on boards was to attack/report the post , not the poster which is what you saw fit to do.

You might bear that in mind the next time you read one of my posts , either that or please feel free to put me on your ignore list in case my standards aren't up to yours or anyone elses.

I'm not really sure why you're calling out Mam of 4 here specifically Eyepatch. She's not basing her argument on anything she's read here, rather she's responding with the fact that sex has always happened within the BB house, and some scenes have bothered people more than others.

I get that you find Hughie's and Ryan's behaviour disgusting, and that's your prerogative. I wasn't all that bothered by it personally, to be honest. Ryan is completely classless, we saw that on the very first night, so last night's shenanigans don't exactly come as a surprise.

Mam of 4's point was a good one; she thought that the MPW and Laura scenes wherein he begged to be strangled should not have been shown. You think that the scenes between Ryan and Hughie should not have been shown.

Different limits, and different strokes for different folks.

Maybe I'd be better off go to another thread, where people are more willing to take on what I have to say, without twisting it to suit what's in their own minds, such as:

I've got to be honest, I thought your post was homophobic too. What you posted was really general and I think could easily be taken up the wrong way. You clarified what exactly your issue was later on in the discussion, but initially in my opinion I can see how your intent was misconstrued.

So you say it was disgusting from start to finish. In that case you can't blame people for wondering if you meant that the kiss was disgusting, or the handjob itself was disgusting, or if Ryan wiping his hand on Hughie's face was disgusting. Do you see how easily what you said, without clarification, could be taken up the wrong way?

I don't mean any offence at all with this post by the way Eyepatch, in general I've agreed with most things you've said in this thread. Like I said, I get why you found that really gross, I just don't get why you'd take someone who didn't find it gross to task.

Have it your way, Mam of 4. I've had my say. Since when is asking a question an attack? There was a discussion going here, based on something I had said, having watched that show and you chose to get in on it, without having seen the show, but basing what you had to say on what you read here.

I expressed an opinion, and was immediately accused of being a homophobe, which I am not.

I didn't say it was an attack but questioning my standards without knowing me as a person , instead of basing it on posts I've made here as you have done , IS a personal attack in my opinion.

And yes , I stated that I hadn't seen last nights episode , so I am to believe that I cannot articulate an opinion now without having watched the show? This thread has been great for keeping me up-dated when I haven't managed to catch it and no-one has ever questioned me posting just because I haven't seen it the night before ?

    The mind boggles.

    ******

Just to clarify, I never said anything about your post that led to you being called a homophobe by another poster.

What did Ryan do on the first night? I missed the first few episodes.

Projectile puked everywhere because he can't handle his gargle. Then came on to Hughie big style after he heard the cheers Hughie was getting during the first "eviction" show. Classy lad. :D

TBH, Jaxxy, I was so grossed out and sick to my stomach through most of that show, that I was embarrassed to elaborate on what I was referring with more clarity.

As far as Ryan goes, I would not be surprised if the Producers engineered a way of getting him out, just to save on cleaning staff expenses. Earlier in the series, he vomited on the fake lawn, which would have had to be cleaned professionally or replaced completely, for Health and Safety reasons. Last night, he throws up on the living room carpet, not the dining room, as some said. One of his mates advised him not to use bleach on the carpet. BB, in the Diary room, reprimanded him for his behaviour, asking him what age he is. Again Professional Staff would have to deal with that, on H&S grounds. I'm not so sure BB Management, is too happy with all of that extra expense. Hence, in my opinion, they will find a way of getting him out soon. He really does not deserve to be on the show. The "Smell that!" incident was the last straw, far as I'm concerned.

Also, regarding Hughie, I liked him from the very start, but I do think he is very naive, and this relationship (if you could call it that), with Ryan, is not helping him. It's only recently that legislation was changed in this country making it easier for LGBT people to be more expressive in public. Hughie himself, early on in the series, stated that being gay in the Traveller Culture, really was not accepted much, as yet. I can see, his family would not have been too pleased to witness what transpired last night. (I'm not about to go into details). Travellers are known for holding on very firmly to their beliefs, as seen in documentaries on those Irish Traveller communities in America. IMO, Hughie needs to watch himself, or when he comes out, he may have to watch his back, as far as the men of his community are concerned. Just my opinions!
