    Hi all, a quick question about an ANOVA study done on some results.

    I have the results from an unstacked, 1-way, ANOVA, copied below. What exactly does it mean?
    Pooled StDev
    Level N Mean StDev
    +
    +
    +
    +
    A 4 0.912 1.084 (
    *
    )
    B 4 0.641 2.241 (
    *
    )
    C 4 1.835 0.846 (
    *
    )
    +
    +
    +
    +
    0.0 1.2 2.4 3.6

    Pooled StDev = 1.518

    I also stuck the figures into Excel, to generate this:

    Anova: Single Factor 48 Hours
    SUMMARY
    Groups Count Sum Average Variance
    A 4.000 3.650 0.912 1.176
    B 4.000 2.564 0.641 5.024
    C 4.000 7.342 1.835 0.715

    ANOVA
    Source of Variation SS df MS F P-value F crit
    Between Groups 3.136 2.000 1.568 0.680 0.531 4.256
    Within Groups 20.745 9.000 2.305

    Total 23.881 11.000
    Am I correct that I have reliable data, as the F value is less than the F critical?
