600 Points enough for Veterinary

    Hello!

    I do ordinary level maths therefore I'm down 25 points default. How many points should I be aiming for to get into Veterinary 2016?

    Points last year for Veterinary were 575* for UCD, 580 in 2014, 575* in 2013, 580* in 2012.

    I thought asterisk means that not all students with those points got in?

    You thought right. 575 with an asterisk means 575 was the lowest points that got accepted but that everyone on those points did not necessarily get in. A student in our school got 575 and got in, so I guess he was one of the lucky ones. Some other students with 575 missed out.
