I've tidied my bedsit and finished planning my Star Trek marathon for tomorrow - to watch only episodes directed by Jonathan Frakes, back-to-back.

    Living the dream

    N'anyhoo...

    WESTZONE!

    No wait, I meant Boyzlife!

    boyzlife-600x310.png

Boyband veterans Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden will give the inside story on teaming up as Boyzlife on Friday night's Late Late Show.

Boyzone's Duffy and former Westlife singer McFadden announced earlier this month that they would be heading out on tour together in October with fans promised a night of "stories, laughter, music". Duffy recently said that he and McFadden were embarking on the project with "our ears and eyes open" and that there were "no limits".

Also on the night, Love/Hate star John Connors will be discussing his new documentary series I Am Traveller, which begins on RTÉ2 next week, while 16-year-old author Eilís Barrett will be sharing the story of her multi-book deal and debut novel Oasis.

There'll also be a blast from the past in more ways than one as the Late Late's antiques restoration segment returns.

Music on the night will come from singer-songwriter Mick Hanly, rapper Lynchy and the UCD Choral Scholars.

    9.35pm toniteh :)

    Hurrah-eh!

Questions that Siubhan Maloney gets asked most often

    1) Is that really how you spell your name?

    2) You know the chair that time on the Late Late, what was all that about?

May I suggest a name for the tour.

It's like something out of Father Ted the reaction to the chair, going to the High Court and all, how much did it all cost in the end? Would be great if Tubs had yer wan on tonight for the craic.

It was learned that as part of the settlement, Mr Duffy is to receive between £20,000 and £30,000, although no figure was given in court.

That Scannal programme is worth a look. That controversy took on a life of it's own. Still waiting for the Hollywood Movie adaptation, which some of the papers said was coming!

    It'd take some restoration, alright.

    That's all I'm saying.

Now, look, I did some reflecting after reading Tubbs going on about internet divils.

Okay, that's a lie. I don't even remember what he was on about. However, I was thinking that I'm turning into an aul b*itch. Not just here, I just whine way more than any dude should.

So I was gonna try to be sound tonight, really.

Then, without warning, while I'm preparing to type something non bitchy about tonight's line up *bam* old zip up yer mickey blindsides me.

Two posts later I might as well be lapping up milk and eating f*ckin Wiskas.

The sad thing is, I never really had a chance.

This is so hard. I could give myself a heart attack trying to be nice tonight.

    Keith always seems sound.

    That's all I got.

It's sort of a challenge. God knows I've said what i think about McFadden enough tim...

Wait a sec, I seem to remember last time he was on he came across (believe me, I was shocked) as not-a-total-douche?

    Did that happen?

Why is anyone feeling any pressure to be nice?

Did I miss a cosmic shift in the worm hole or sumfink Rodders?

I thought that being as bitchy as possible was the whole POINT of the LLS threads?

I can't remember if I like Keith Duffy or not.

I'm sure if you trawl my posts you would find completely contradictory opinions on him.

Most of comments are like that in fairness. Often I can't get to then end of a post without changing opinion.

I think Keith Duffy is great, he's a harmless chancer with a good sense of humour who makes the best of his opportunities.

And another thing, I am so sick and tired of Keith Duffy. He has no talent whatsoever and he should feck off out of the media and get a real job.
