Gestational diabetes

    Hi guys.. diagnosed with gestational diabetes last week and spoke with midwife yesterday to discuss blood testing.
    I'm waiting to see dietician but that could take weeks!
    I'm finding it very hard at the moment to figure what I should and shouldn't eat.
    I've looked online for help but I can't figure it out..
    Anybody know where I'd find a basic list of foods that should be avoided?
    Just to keep me going until I see dietician.
