    Here are the teams!!

Wales: Liam Williams, Alex Cuthbert, Jonathan Davies, Jamie Roberts, George North, Dan Biggar, Gareth Davies; Rob Evans, Scott Baldwin, Samson Lee, Bradley Davies, Alun Wyn Jones, Dan Lydiate, Sam Warburton (capt), Taulupe Faletau.

Replacements: Ken Owens, Gethin Jenkins, Tomas Francis, Jake Ball, Justin Tipuric, Lloyd Williams, Rhys Priestland, Gareth Anscombe.

France: Maxime Medard, Vrimi Vakatawa, Maxime Mermoz, Jonathan Danty, Djbril Camara, Jules Plisson, Maxime Machenaud; Jefferson Poirot, Guilhem Guirado (capt), Rabah Slimani, Paul Jedrasiak, Alexandre Flanquart, Wencelsas Lauret, Antoine Burban, Damien Chouly.

Replacements: Camille Chat, Uini Atonio, Vincent Pelo, Yoann Maestri, Loann Goujon, Sebastien Bezy, Francois Trinh-Duc, Gael Fickou.

Wales will be tough bet in Cardiff, seems like ben arous is injured... be intersting to look at Machernaud who looked handy vrs us!!!! They have also brought in Djibril Camara from Stade who I dont know much about.

I think only Cuthburt in for the Welsh but there is never too many surprises with Gatland these days.

seems to be a great atmosphere in the ground. they like to sing, the Welsh.

Wales by 4 for me. France's defence ain't bad now...bookies have total points at under/over 39.5
Under that I feel. €10 of my hard earned says so!

What the hell was Plisson thinking? Cost them three here....

    Or maybe not.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

Messy start, all froth and fizz, needs a calm head to control and begin to dictate play

Harsh for not rolling away. So don't get caught on the wrong side at all even if your not in the way.

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 35,731 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

I thought you could kick a short arm peno out but not get the throw in.

    Plisson should know better though

Lee was binding on the french man's chest there.

    That's debateable

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 35,731 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

Vakatawa's the only French player on a central contract.

A free kick is like any kick from play. Not like a penalty at all. That's why Wales went for a scrum again.

    Plisson is a gobsh1te.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

Am wondering what game the commentators are watching?

It's pretty chaotic due to both sides line speed and inaccurate execution, plus I think the French have the edge in the scrum

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 27,833 ✭✭✭✭ThisRegard

That's not a late hit, no attempt at all to wrap, another brazen shoulder.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,619 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

These French wingers are absolutely brutal. Guy Nove's daughter is married to Vincent Clerc. He doesn't have to go far to pick someone decent.

    Another blatant yellow.
The French will keep doing that as long as they keep getting away with it.
    Weak call from the TMO.

Didn't see the replay but looked like a carbon copy of the Maestri incident.

Anyone else watching on BBC hear Brian Moore have a dig at JP Doyle/Barnes live on air? They were bitching about the scrum call

Davies : "So that's the wrong call?"
    Moore : "Not surprising."

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

Yeah I thought Moore let himself down there

Swear most of these concussions are from poor tackling technique

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 242 ✭✭Orchard Rebel

France blew that but is anyone ever going to whistle Wales for being camped offside?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,903 ✭✭✭✭mfceiling

    Very poor game so far.

What a colossal mess up from France to not score there.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 28,138 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

Interesting that they're going back there but entirely correct. Wales did it several times there.

Second match in a row now he's been penalised for that I think. Deservedly so, he's gotten away with no arms chops for years.

I thought there should have been a penalty for lazy runners earlier in the play as well. The French 9 may not have been cute enough to get it though.
