Risk-free in-play bet365 offer for Arsenal vs Barcelona

This week Bet365's risk-free offer is for the game between Arsenal and Barcelona.

For the uninitiated, this means that if you make at least one bet before the game, then your first in-play bet is risk-free up to €50 or your largest pre-game stake (whichever's lower).

I've done a quick bit of calculating, and there's a way of guaranteeing about €30 of profit - bet €120 on Barcelona pre-game @4/6, make Arsenal your €50 in-play bet @4/1ish and cover that with a €50 bet on the draw elsewhere @3/1ish.

Your thinking is right but your sequence of bets is wrong and you will get screwed if there is an early Arsenal goal before you get your in-play bet is placed.

Before the game:
Bet €90 on Barcelona to win with Bet365.com
Bet €30 on Arsenal to win with BetVictor.com
After the game starts:
Bet €50 on the draw with Bet365.com

Total amount bet: €170
Arsenal Win: €200 - Draw: €200 - Barcelona Win: €200

€30 Profit.

Would it not be a lot more simple to do 2 bet365 bets of £50 under 3.5 at 1/2 and then the risk free £50 at over 3.5 in play at 6/4. Guarantees a £25 profit. Plus initial outlay needed just €100

I've never won with my risk free in 6-8 attempts.

I'll post my option to avoid tomorrow if I get the cash together.

Part of the rules of the promotion state that you can't bet in such a way that you're guaranteed to make a profit from bet365, otherwise you run the risk of getting your stakes seized and your account restricted. FWIW, I did cheat the system a few times without any consequences, but now I'm not willing to risk it any more.

BTW, BTTS in the 1st half has landed in the last 3 Barca games, and that's 3/1 right now. Arsenal to score in the 1st half is 6/4 (Barca have conceded in the 1st half in each of their last 4 games), just in case anyone has too much faith in Petr Cech to go for the riskier BTTS.

haven't seen them voided in practice. Generally, people lodge to do the bet and end up eventually losing any winnings and stakes;) Bookie run promos to win overall.

Sid Lowe on Football Weekly made a case for Arsenal to really go at Barca and I think it will be all guns blazing for the first half anyway so I see good value in that.

How quickly would the "race to" market disappear on in-play or will it be there for the match?

Race to stays up til one team reaches 1 below the mark. So rt7 will be up until a team hits 6 corners

Barca games invariably go under in the corners totals due to the amount of possession they have and the fact they (like Arsenal) like to walk the ball into the net. The BTTS has shortened into 8-13 now and under 10 corners is 5-6

Yep the goalscorer markets are all available in play.

The race to market is available in play and doesn't change lines until one team is 2 corners away from hitting it so you'd have no problem getting on race to 7 until one team hits 5 corners.

Arsenal are a possession dominating team in England and against most teams. But I think it's a different story once they play Barca corner wise.

If you lose the in play bet the 50e will be refunded during the night at some time. Often following morning before I see the 50e back in so don't get worried if not refunded straight away.

Again your gonna win your bet so won't have to worry about it. May aswel be confident.

Average total count is 10.8
High of 16 with a low of 5

Arsenals last 8 PL games, total corner counts :

12, 10, 16, 13, 12, 12, 11, 12.

And Arsenal in the CL this season, total counts with Arsenal's team count in brackets

13 (6), 16 (9), 10 (1), 16 (5), 12 (8), 9 (7).

All double digits counts apart from the one game.



Barca in the Spanish League

Average total count of 9.6
High of 17 with a low of 2

There last few games don't have big counts but again their opponents didn't help that cause.

Barcas team count in last 9 games in league is 6, 4, 1, 5, 8, 3, 6, 7, 10. They are capable of banging them in also, depends on how he game is going. They have some high counts overall in the season.

But when you look at their CL games this season, this was the total count, Barca's team total in brackets.

7 (1), 14 (11), 8 (7), 9 (9), 5 (4), 8 (7).

Some very high counts there in the group stages, Against Roma they got 11 & 7.
