Good start. Lovely break by Muldoon with a tasty offload before. Anyone know who got it off?

    EDIT: It was Kieran

Poor knock on by AJ and clear penalty from Mul. 3-3 fair score so far

Has Healy got a girlfriend in Dublin by any chance?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,442 ✭✭✭its_phil

That pace by Heaky is frightening and the scrum half pass by Buckley! Wow!

BOD was calling for Healy to be looked at by Joe Schmidt last night.

    Mils left in Healys dust

How can Aki move when their second rows fat arse is purposefully lying on him?! More common sense needed from the ref

    Too soon!

Never mind Matt Healy.....Denis Buckley to start at scrum half in Twickenham.....what a pass from a prop from the base of a ruck!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,442 ✭✭✭its_phil

Sure Irish players don't know how to offload or run support lines?! :D

    Hon Kieran!

Bundee held by the neck pretty badly there, how did the ref not see that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

That was a beaut of a try.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,504 ✭✭✭NiallBoo

Maybe this is just me/old news but does the TG4 player not go full-screen any
    more?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,257 ✭✭✭Hagz

Sumptuous offloading in the build up to that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,875 ✭✭✭✭MugMugs

What an outstanding try. Zebre will be kicking themselves

Diadora boots there on a Zebre player there...haven't seen those since Roy Keane days

Looked like Niyi hit that forward, could have been a penalty try

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,442 ✭✭✭its_phil

    Great D!!!

Some difference from the Leinster game. Just shows how much the conditions can ruin a game

Hard for a team to play that badly two weeks in a row.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,166 ✭✭✭S12b

Some good counter-rucking from McGinty and Niyi.....probably wouldn't be too high on their list of preferred rugby pursuits!! :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,974 ✭✭✭connachta

    what happened to Heenan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,245 ✭✭✭ClanofLams

Really? Didn't give much up in meters and it's not like they got through on a clean break.

    What a tackle Niyi!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,974 ✭✭✭connachta

Ronaldson had some piece of defense here too!!!

They've missed a fair few first up tackles

That's bloody woeful... Two terrible set piece executions with an exceptional stop sandwiched between.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,974 ✭✭✭connachta

    Why did Heenan goes off?

Well is it tackles or defence? Because that's two different things IMO.

Bit too close for comfort, Pat needs to give them a bit of a lecture at the break.

Two good tries but a poor display apart from that. We've had to soak up a lot of pressure and just as it looked like we'd done that we self-destruct. Zebre playing well but we are giving them the platform. Strong words needed at half time to lift us from our slumber.

Jesus seems a bit pedantic. I consider tackles a part of defence. Maybe I should have some poor defence.

Your defensive system can be sound but if people are missing straight up tackles, how could you blame your system?

I didn't mention defensive system, used what I consider to be a broad term of defence. You disagree with that interpretation obviously, we're going around in circles so I'll leave it at that.

They're instrinsically linked.....a good system is nothing without good tackling and good individual tackling is nothing without a defensive system.

Heenan seemed to have a cut on the side of his head when the cameras cut to him on the sideline.

Class there from AJ and great support play by Healy. He has an unbelievable nose for the tryline.
