Anyone make it into his videos?!

Full disclaimer: I drive, and I also cycle.

This guy is a tool, and is doing nothing to promote safe driving / cycling habits.
If anyone did make his list (google your reg to see), then the cyclist part of me apologises. I'm pretty sure some of the cycling forum would even chip in for a coffee (can't have you drink driving now!) for your trouble.

Lots of crap drivers out there, lots of bad cyclists. The above however, does nothing apart from ensuring that we get more drivers who hate cyclists and visa versa.

They have a thread on this guy over on the cycling forum and the feeling that this guy is a tool is mutual.

He deliberately went looking for a confrontation. The guy apologised, what more can he do.
I can't understand this threatening with being put on Youtube, it's the most idiotic threat someone can make.
    Eejit of the highest order.

First time visitor here, I usually skulk around the cycling forum.

One good thing about this knob, as far as I can see, is that the cyclists and the motorists on Boards.ie have finally come across something, on which they are in complete agreement.

Chap is a number one bellend.
I wonder how ballsy he would be without his camera.
Most motorists/cyclists will use a level of courtesy and understanding about rush hour traffic.

What a moron. Somebody is going to work out his route and film him doing stupid things on a bike.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,311 ✭✭✭BreadnBuddha

An accidental smack of a car or a few digs from a driver one day will put some manners on that eejit.

I wouldn't want to see anything bad happen to him but he's putting himself right in the firing line with that kind of bull****.

You know who will care? Nobody except his family and some other cyclists. He'll be a footnote in the newspaper and an RSA statistic the following year.

    Moron.

He will meet the wrong person or vehicle some day and end up in an ICU.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,297 ✭✭✭✭Jawgap

If he's lucky, he'll do something to someone like an off-duty Guard who'll give him his "yellow card."

I suspect he won't learn from that either and sooner or later he'll end up physically hurt either by provoking the wrong driver or insisting on his rights and getting creamed by motor vehicle - unfortunately this won't stop him, it'll just served as vindication, as he will see it, for his attitude and his 'crusade.'

The best thing that can happen to him is that someone steals his bike and/or camera!

Ive watched a few of his other videos. That's ten minutes I'll never get back.

For someone that preaches the rules of the road he ignores them himself when it suits him (more than a few questionable overtakes and close passes that if a car did there'd be video on it). Seems to get a kick out of harassing randomers, albeit not all are innocents either. One particular video someone made a mistake and missed a red light - it happens, she should have paid more attention but nothing could be done. All he did was abuse her and insult her. In the grand scheme of things his reaction is OTT.

My personal favourite has to be this:

    https://youtu.be/a4s9LtiTiTQ

I bet a Hollywood blockbuster is in the making on the back of it.

His ultimate defense however is no one has the patience or calm to watch enough of his videos to work it out. He's a smart one :(

Isn't this the same d1ckhead that had the issue with your wan "I'm a vulnerable woman driver on my own" that went viral?

Some of his videos are the most pointless things I've ever seen in my life. "Illegal cash for cars sign on property billboard" definitely has to have a demeaning job.

Is doing what he's doing even legal? Recording number plates and sticking up video footage online without the driver's consent? He's bordering on vigilantism.

Public space, no issue I'd imagine. His efforts would be better spent reporting it rather than aiming for gratification on YouTube mind.

The only non-violent cure for that lad is for people to stop watching his videos and commenting on them. He's the equivalent of an Internet troll disguised as a cyclist with a GoPro.

It's possible defamation, there's certainly enough there that if he makes the wrong comment to the wrong person that could at least involve some letters back and forth, and hopefully the youtube channel being shut down.

    An absolute and utter plonker.

There's only one person who will ever stop that cyclist. Hull's finest former amateur boxer..........

It's a bit OTT, but in fairness, there are some ****E drivers out there (and that guyn the silver estate is probably one of them); i.e. red light jumpers and yellow box roosters...

I confess that I, until two years ago, cycled exclusively... So, i see several sides to this. That guy on the bike still comes across as a knob.

Wish he would do us all a favour and stop taking up space on the internet.

What a nut job! Am I the only one on motors who would absolutely go psycho if he put some **** piece of paper on the windscreen? It's a wet day and wiper blades might need to be used by the driver. Real dumb to be putting stuff behind the wiper blade...

No,I'm the same,ID honestly step out,and turn him upside down and as a cyclist, and a motorist, I feel this cretin gives cyclists a bad name,he's obviously an attention seeking, insecure, lonely individual, as a guy like him wouldn't be accepted into normal company, it's his goal in life to annoy ppl, what a king sized LANGER

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,644 ✭✭✭✭punisher5112

He is a grade A tool of the highest order.

Honestly I would hate to see his reaction if someone actually done something bad as all videos I have seen him posting are nothing.

I have seen crashes, cars run of the road, cyclists hitting pedestrians on roads and paths, I have been hit twice by bikes years ago.

He needs to go and get a decent hobby and get some training on how to ride a bike safely.

Youtube no use to him when he is dead.
