    Hi all,
I was wondering if yous could help me out, after recovering from an injury Ive become very unfit i used to be somewhat fit due to rugby training but havent played in about a year. i'm a forward but never really was that fit and was always switched around positions but i'd really like to up my game and be fit.

Could anyone recommend me some sort of workout plan beginning now and being ready to resume playing for mid july/beginning of august pre-season?
    Many thanks,
    BBL

I was playing tag rugby a while back.

My exercises for the last few years have mainly been about losing belly fat but I said I'd look up and see if I could work anything useful for the tag into my workout.

I think this was the article I found:
    http://www.irishrugby.ie/playingthegame/fitness/general/to_endurance_train_or_not.php

the message I took was that long aerobic runs weren't as good as interval training (run shorter distance fast, then walk back, then repeat)

They have more articles on fitness linked from this page:
    http://www.irishrugby.ie/playingthegame/fitness/general/index.php

It's not designed very well though, so to see them use the menu that appears when your mouse is over the [Fitness: General+] section and [Fitness: The Young Player+] section (above the article, not the words in the article)
