The current Nav system is superb in them - way better than the VAG offerings. The xenons give you the lovely “angel eye” LED DRL’s too. Probably not an easy retrofit though I imagine. There’s guys who specialise in doing it in the U.K., particularly the Nav retrofits. Not so much here though I’d say.

Yeah, road trip is required alright. I hate not having xenons but the price reflected it too. I would have imported one with the spec but I couldn't offload the Superb privately.

    Very nice
Diesel is still the way to go for so many Irish motorists imo. Well wear & safe motoring.

I've no doubt the mileage mentioned for the 330d is genuine & verified so to your point.....no, not really.

No, the superb was me in the car on my own 99% of the time. The flexibility of an estate or big hatch is all I need.

Have some good driving roads to where I live and where the superb just crapped it's pants the 330 (diesel and all) is just so much more enjoyable. The superb was great at some things but driving wasn't one of them.

The superb isn't much fun to drive? That's a pity, I like the look of them and they were on the short list to replace my E46 touring whenever that might happen.

I think I spotted your car today in mahon point being admired by a guy with an audi S4?

Yeah, met another boardsie earlier there. I'd much prefer his RS4;)

Thanks. Needs a few bits before I'm happy though.

Gave it a small going over this evening with some Gtechniq C2V3 and had to fit some mud guards as the roads here are normally mucky enough.

Some decent tyres next before retrofits is number 1 on the priority list.

My favourite shade of blue ever, hoping I can get my next used purchase in it.

It's the nicest colour for BMWs by far.

Yep, second is imola red for me

That blue is fantastic on the F30s for sure. The grey BMW does looks great as well. Black suits many BMWs (especially when you put black grilles and wheels on them and go for that mean aggressive look) but it's such a pig of a colour to keep clean.

We had a brand new M5 with us all week, in Donington Grey, didn't initially like but now I think its a stunning colour, extremely subtle for the car.

My brother picked himself up an expensive ornament at the weekend :pac::cool:

Don't ask me about the spec of it, I'm not clued up on my Twin Cams bar it having ITB's :pac:

Nearly sure I saw this in Limerick at the weekend Jap C&C meet? There was a massive turn out and a plethora of AE86's.

I passed by myself and saw a lot of 86s around. Was kicking myself I never washed and waxed my car so I could join in.

I had to google what ITB stood for :o, although I suppose looking at the engine bay should have been enough of a clue :pac:! Didn't know Toyota did engines with these to be honest (I thought it was something only BMW did with their old school ///M engines), is it an aftermarket mod?

It's aftermarket on Ae86's anyway. From memory it looked like that car also had trumpets.

But standard on Toyota AE111 without trumpets.

That car is far too subtle if you ask me. The q car styling was fine in the 1990's but if your spending 150k on a 600bhp monster it needs some drama. A bonnet bluge would be enough. Even as a rabid fanboy I find it hard spot the new m5's from the pack.

Yeah they are far too subtle, it was debadged on the rear too so bar the tiny badge on the front and sides you'd really only tell it from a standard one by actually looking at the brakes and rad/intercooler through the side vents in the bumper!
